Let’s face it — runners are tough. We push through early mornings, icy roads, long intervals, and mental battles. But for too many athletes, that drive comes with a cost: injury.

Studies show that between 30% and 75% of runners experience an injury every year (Sports Statistics, 2023). And even more train without a plan, missing out on their true performance potential.

That’s why I started Young Edge Training Services — to bridge the gap between injury prevention and performance enhancement. Because you shouldn't have to choose between staying healthy and getting faster. You deserve both.

MY “WHY”

I’ve been a competitive runner for 9 years, racing everything from the 800 to the 6k while competing at the Division III collegiate level in cross country and track. I fell in love with the dedication, team culture, and raw grit that defines the running community.

But along the way, I saw too many teammates sidelined by preventable injuries. I saw athletes who trained hard but didn’t have the tools — or support — to train smart.

Now, as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a graduate student studying Physical Therapy, I’ve made it my mission to help runners perform better, stay healthy longer, and gain the edge their competitors don’t have.
