Who I am

Eleanor Young, CSCS, DPT-in-progress
Hi, I’m Eleanor — a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and current Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Trine University. I’m also a competitive runner of 9 years, former DIII collegiate athlete in cross country and track, and a 2024 NCAA DIII Cross Country Nationals qualifier.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in encouragement, education, and evidence. I believe athletes perform at their best when their training is built on both science and support. Over the years, I’ve personally shaved 3 minutes off my 5K time and a full minute off my mile — but it didn’t come without setbacks. I’ve faced injury after injury, and those experiences shaped my “why.”

My mission is to bridge the gap between injury prevention and peak performance. Whether you're a casual runner looking to feel stronger or a competitive athlete chasing personal bests, I’m here to help you train smarter, move better, and stay healthy for the long run.

Through performance coaching grounded in physical therapy principles, I offer athletes the tools to build strength, speed, and resilience — not just results.
